This past March, Chapman Jewelry set up shop at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo for the very first time. After four decades of fairs and rodeos across the country, a first is still a big deal for us - and Houston did not disappoint.
What We Brought to Houston
Our booth was stocked with the pieces our fair customers love most: our best-selling permanent bracelets and anklets, custom fitted toe rings, and ear cuffs. If you found us on the floor, there's a good chance you watched a bracelet get fitted right in front of you - it's everyone's favorite part.
The TikToks That Took Off
We decided to document the whole run, and shot 15 short videos from the show floor. Houston showed up: those videos drew more than 286,000 views, 12,000 likes, and 2,500 shares. Our very first post - announcing our first time at the show - was viewed 77,700 times and shared to friends and family more than 1,180 times.
Our favorite comment-section moment came from the video we captioned: "Be honest… are y'all here for Kelly Clarkson or the permanent bracelets?" (We understand. She was great. But the bracelets don't need a ticket.)
